Sooooo...today was D-day. I talked to my boss at work, and I told him I was giving him my two weeks so I could be at home with my daughter. He was great about it. He said if I ever need extra cash, or I have time to kill, I'm welcome to take on some hours.
Lloyd...Lloyd cried and cuddled Niamh until I finished my shift. Munchkin thought that was great, she wouldn't stop laughing.
And...the biggest thing for me, I pulled out of school. I didn't enroll, didn't pay for books, didn't sign up for classes. I know I'm doing the right thing, but it was still hard. Part of me feels like I've thrown all that money and time away. But then I go home and help my baby walk from the kitchen to her bedroom, and I don't doubt anymore. :)
Speaking of my little miniMadson....she knows what no means now, and she uses it. Espeeeecially when it's bathtime. Poor Taylor has his own personal alarm clock, when I give her a bath in the morning she starts screaming "NONONONONONONONONO!" and wakes him up. Whatever, he loves us, lol.
Aaaanyway...what are you all doing Saturday? I'm thinking big family dinner type thing.

Ooooh Lordie, my poor aching body.
I'm about ready to throw in the towel at work, find something else. You'd think hippies would be relaxed? Soooo wrong. Sososososo wrong. A woman came in with this really nasty attitude, made fun of my height and told me I had bags under my eyes before leaving. Oh my God, it took every ounce of strength not to pull a Lloyd. I really wanted to hit her, and then cry. Didn't hit her, did cry, I think I'm PMSing. Stupid bitch.
Anyway everything else has been just fine. Teh husband and I are happy. The hobbitling is happy and healthy and walking. She follows me everywhere now, it's absolutely precious. I walk into the kitchen and two seconds later I hear the "slap slap slap" of tiny feet on hardwood. I do so love my little girl. <333333 And sometimes she just stands there, sipping her juice and watching me do whatever. SOSOSOSOSO cute.
Aaanyway...let's see, what else is there to say...nothing, I think. Oh well.
MWAH.

Lloyd update:
Today a woman walked into the store in a fur coat asking for a crystal to hang in the review mirror of my SUV.
Thanks, God. I may not believe in you, but you're putting up a good fight to prove your existance.
Oh man, I think Niamh knew what was coming. She started giggling and laughing, patting my cheek to get my attention and pointing to Lloyd. My. Baby. Is. A. Genius. I turn just in time to see Lloyd start sobbing and asking how many baby seals were killed to make that coat. Yanno what the woman says? She tells him it's not seal, it's fox.
Ohmahgah. Lloyd like shrieks, and our manager has to drag him into the backroom to make him tea. At that point Niamh and I are laughing like we're on nitrous, but now I have to help this woman, who's a)shocked and b)pissed. So I distract her with a well placed baby, which works well because Niamh is fascinated by how soft her coat is, get her what she wants, and she leaves as a smiling, happy customer. I'm taking my child to work every single day now, she makes work so much easier. Haha.
Baby, can we have Lloyd over for dinner? He's like a one man show, only you don't have to pay for tickets.

Yaharr!
Avast, me hearties. If ye live in the deepest pit of Hades then perhaps ye aren't knowin' it be Talk Like a Pirate Day. While sailin' the techonological seas I was aghast to be learnin' that me own kin, Dapper Danny and Rhys the Revolting, were failin' te observe the holiday. I kindly reminded them that I was indeed the captain of this here vessel, and there were consequences for ignorin' the pirate code. Harr.
It were a lovely day in the city, so me first mate Bloody Baby Niamh and I went pillagin in the Village. We came back with a lovely bit of swag, I'm glad to be sayin'. Now I plan on waitin' here for me pretty wench to come home so I can go pillagin' again. Yarrr.
Ever yours, Captain Bea the Bonny

[September 14th, 3:09pm] |
Oooh Eddie Izzard, I love you so.
I figured I should update, since I badgered my husband into doing it.
School was good today, I absolutely loooove my Eastern European history class. It's good, good stuff. I think I should apply to be a GTA for the next semester, it'll look good on resumes.
I love school, I really do, but I'd so much rather stay at home with my baby. Being a mom is so tough, *sigh*. lol. Niamh wailed when I left this morning, I just about did the same. We distracted her with puppy, and she was fine in a few minutes. Oh, Evie, you're a lifesaver.
On to my next point, which is work. Specifically, Lloyd. Oh Lloyd, you make my heart sing with joy every time you have an episode. Today he decided that the feng shui of the store wasn't right, so he went about reorganizing everything. I sat behind the register most of the day, watching him with my eyebrow raised. Niamh gets a kick out of him, I think she knows just how crazy that man is. Smart girl.
Anyway, I need to go get dinner started. We're having lamb, Avi. OH GOD WE'RE EATING LAMBCHOP. Hahahaha.

[September 5th, 7:09pm] |
Taylor went and made an honest woman out of me. :)
Well...as honest as you can get when you already have a daughter with someone. But anyway, the wedding was beautiful, the food was good, and I'm now married to the man of my dreams. Yay. :)
ANDANDAND! MUNCHKIN IS TALKING NOW! She, much like her mama, runs her mouth every chance she gets. <3333

[August 28th, 4:08pm] |
Okay, so today work was hell. I don't know what crazy new age holiday is coming up, but the store was packed with a bunch of aging hippies who smelled suspiciously of maryjane. Then a few random yuppies come in, all pushy and annoying, telling me I don't move NEARLY fast enough to work in retail. I bite my lip, smile prettily, and keep working.
On the way home the heel of my shoe catches in a crack, and I fall, twisting my ankle. Not a living soul stops to help me, and some ass steps on my hand while walking by. I drag myself home, limping, and crawl upstairs because my ankle hurts so bad.
I open the door to the apartment, ready to fall into Taylor's arms and cry my pain away. But instead I open the door, and I see he and Niamh dancing to Bring It. He's smiling, the baby's laughing, and I can't remember what I wanted to cry about in the first place.
I love my life.

Dear Pippin, I have had it with you and your goofy hair. You look like dad. YOU LOOK LIKE DAD. Expect me to show up at your apartment late at night with ducttape and a pair of scissors. I'm taking you down, boy. Love, Your caring sister Moonbeam
Anyway, work was fun today. Some woman came in saying she wanted to decorate her house with hippie paraphenalia. Lloyd bursts in to tears and tries to tell her that it's a lifestyle, not a decorating choice. They're touchy ones, these earth children. I came home today to Taylor and the baby dancing to Bring It.
....ready?
AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW Literally, the cuteness almost made my head explode. That's a good thing to come home to after listening to a grown man cry over someone's word choice. Anyway we're all good now, the gays just went home, and I need sleep. So goodnight!

Boys! Adore my pretty new livejournal!
So today was pretty eventful. I took Niamh to the pediatrician's for a checkup, and Dr. Pierce says she's a-ok. Of course she is, her mommy and daddy are superheroes, superheroes don't get sick. To celebrate her good health we went shopping and bought her a new dress and a new stuffed kitty, who she and mommy have named Gideon. Mommy, Niamh, and Gideon are home now, basking in their good health.
Now, on a slightly more adult note (DANNY STOP READING), I think I may be a nympho. JACOB STOP LAUGHING. Seriously, Taylor came home from work today, and it literally took everything in my power not to jump him and tear his clothes off. Is this a problem? Don't answer that, latte boy.
Anyway, I'm off to read. So close to finishing Neverwhere, that book is flipping amazing.

[August 16th, 1:08am] |
Wow, today has been exciting in a blow-your-brains out, drink until you pass out so bored kind of way. Taylor took Niamh to Westchester to see his parents, and they're not coming back until tomorrow. I can't get ahold of Jacob or Danny, but my twin senses are telling me that they're playing games I don't want to be a part of. ZOMG SO BORED. I've studied, gone through pictures for the wedding, looked online at florists, CALLED MY MOTHER, even asked Robbie at work if they needed any help. He said they were fine, then went on for twenty minutes about how he had the munchies. Most 21 year old women would go clubbing, or call friends, or go shopping, but I've decided to laze at home with Smirnoff and porn. AND I'M STILL BORED. Screw it, I'm just gonna get drunk and watch Jurassic Park.
[edit] JACOB! You know Finn, who usually does my hair? Well, Finn was sick today, so I ended up with some woman named Hannah. Anyway we get to talking, and I mention Niamh, and Taylor, getting married, etc., etc. She gets this Look in her eyes and starts trying to convincing me that 21 is too young to get married, tells me I'm going to end up some trailer dwelling, barefoot, pregnant with her 12th child stay at home servant, and that I should focus on school now and family later. Seriously, have you delt with this woman before? Because I wanted to turn around and punch her in the face. I had to find the owner half way through my cut and request someone else finish me off. So we're starting a "Get Hannah Fired Because She Crossed Bea" campaign, get your picketting shoes out. I'm a cranky drunk tonight.

EEEEEEEE.
Pam came into the city today to visit, I had forgotten how much I missed her. We spent most of the day shopping, harassing Taylor at work, and getting our hair done, it reminded me sooo much of living back in Woodstock. She was like, my only girl friend growing up. Anyway I think I might ask her to be my maid of honor. No matter how long we go without seeing each other, whenever we meet up it's like I never moved.
I think I'm going to take a bubblebath tonight. I haven't had one since I lived with the twin, and I miss them like crazy. Ooooh, and shave! I'm a fancy bitch.

[August 5th, 10:08pm] |
K-I-S-S-I-N-G! Haha, I just got off of the phone with my brother. I have no idea how any of my other brothers are, or my sister, or my parents, because for two hours I talked to him about Christina and their relationship. He's so funny, all he talks about is going to school in the city so they're closer together... Anyway, I'm bored as hell. Munchkin is asleep, babymaker is at work. No class to study for, gays probably having sex at home, or getting matching pink triangles tattooed on their arms. ZOMG PMS.
